Dhaka-- (UNB) – Chittagong Port Authority will procure a sophisticated tugboat from the Netherlands at a cost of Tk 22.34 crore.

The tugboat, being procured with financial assistance of the Netherlands government, is likely to be delivered in the month of August this year.

Construction work on the tugboat will be inaugurated at Rynwaal Shipyard in the Netherlands today (Wednesday).

A three-member delegation led by Shipping Secretary Sohel Ahmed left here for the Netherlands Monday to attend the inaugural programme.
